So I'm fortunate enough to be working with the lady behind Unique LA, on her very special day, next Saturday, the 17th! Sonja & Jonathan are a super cool artsy design couple, and their wedding is going to be legit. Everything is kind of a secret, including the ceremony site! The guests don't even know! How cool is that?

Since I am working with Sonja on decorations and planning, she said I could post a few behind-the-scene sneak pics. There are so many cool DIY elements and decor, it's so much fun! Here are some shots of their invite:

  13. Awwww, thanks everyone for the sweet words! I art directed the invites and save-the-dates with the super-awesome talent of my soon-to-be-husband (who created the graphic design/patterns for the invites) and Vanessa/TheVaguely.com who did the typography for the cards. :) Mable at Dee & Lala letterpressed the invites, while Vanessa and I screenprinted the save-the-dates ourselves at Fresh Pressed.

If you like this stuff wait until you see the real goods! All I'll say is gold, crystals and a lot of swag. ;)

    xoxo, sonja

  16. It's such good pictures. I wish MY wedding was like this, but we do things so differently here in Pakistan, i don't think i'd ever get a wedding where the guests don't even know where to go.

    Amazing!
