washi tape notebook:

Photobucket
Ever since I was in college, I've always kept some sort of notebook with me to write down "to do" things from day to day. So for the latest notebook, I purchased one of these simple Mead notebooks and got some new Lotta Jansdotter washi tape (don't you just love the yellow one?) and decorated a new notebook for myself!

On the inside, I always try to make a calendar for the upcoming months.. Someone saw this one time and said I was ocd! But I just try to be organized!

I used some of the decals I designed (that I had at the craft show) and put one on the front and one on the inside. I am really loving these decals :)

That's it! A very simple + quick afternoon project. If you're overwhelmed or just need to get a little more organized, I totally recommend keeping a notebook with you. I know there are lots of organization/productivity apps on smart phones now and days but there is something awesome about writing things down the good old fashion way ;)

  3. This is gorgeous. I need a planner of some sort for the new school year, but all the affordable ones are ugly, all the pretty ones are expensive. I'd love to try this out.

  12. Beautiful work, Danni! I used to obsess over cute notebooks, but strangely I found that I write best in simple black moleskins. Something about those just works for me. The washi tape however...well, I can never have too much of that.

  24. Um, this is amazing! I'm loving it. My problem with notebooks is that I leave them at the page I'm jotting, so the cover is never to be seen again. If I did this, I'd learn to close the notebook. :)

  35. I can never get used to using apps on my phone to keep me organized - I always download them and never use them :D A notebook is the only thing that works for me :)

Oh, and "Sometimes if something isn't written down that I get done, I'll add it just so I can cross it off ;) (tell me there is someone else out there who does this too!) " - Yeah - me!! :D
