October is here! I think the month's go by extra fast when I measure them by the desktop calendars that are posted. It seems like a new one is getting posted everyday! What are you looking forward to this month? Anyone have a birthday? Celebrating their anniversary? My cousin is getting married in a couple weeks, I'm so excited to celebrate with them and see family!
I really like this quote. At times, my mind and heart feel so discontent with what I'm doing with my life - sounds so silly, I know. I think some of it has to do with all the blogs we read.. seeing some big bloggers living these fabulous gorgeous lives and I find myself comparing.. My friend Ruby actually wrote a great post about reading blogs with discernment. I know I am exactly where I need to be. I don't need to be taking over the world. I need to just be content. Hm, maybe that should be next month's quote? ;)
By the way, if you have any encouraging quotes or words of wisdom to share, feel free to submit it in the comments below and it will be considered for future desktop calendars :) Hope you enjoy this month's calendar friends!

Oh, I love that! The words I keep telling myself as I go through this next hurdle is, "God didn't send me down here to live an ordinary life." It a push for me to go out and serve others more.
ReplyDeleteLove this Dani. Thanks! My desktop at work always looks cute and it makes me smile even with the long hours.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I wrote about your awesome vintage sale below, hope you get to see it... it was great to finally meet you and Nick. I love meeting AI sweethearts too.

This calendar is just perfect! Than you so much for doing this :)
ReplyDeleteHave a joyful day!
hi danni,
ReplyDeletei was going to write something on your last post regarding balancing work/life. i envy you & nick for: all the craft shows & especially traveling. it is very hard work but so worth it. especially while you're both young and with no kids yet. nick is a blessing for supporting you and take partner in this business. your success will be his as well. once you have a couple of little ones running around, it will slow down a bit so my 2 cents advice is go for it. then you never have to look back & wish you didn't try. as long as you love what you're doing that is all that matter. you have the best job girlfriend. being creative & meet many wonderful friends along the way. i love what you are doing. xoxo

ReplyDeleteYour friend's blog is super cute!
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew where the original source for this quote is. I've heard it so many times, especially at church, that is has stuck with me and is totally relatable to what you are talking about: The reason people struggle with insecurity is because we compare our behind the scene to others' highlight reels.
As always, THANK YOU! I love love love your backgrounds. My computer isn't the same without one. :)
ReplyDeleteI REALLY love that quote. I need to remember that often! This month I'm looking forward to the blog series I'm writing, 31 Days of Fashion for Freedom, in which I wear 10 items of clothing for the entire month to raise awareness for human trafficking. I've never done anything like this before, so it's very exciting!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the calender! I will be celebrating my 1 year wedding anniversary on the 22nd :)
ReplyDeletethank you!!! I love the fonts and touch of dots :)I hope you have a lovely October!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I downloaded it and will plaster it all over my screen. One of the quotes that I love and that I try to live by is by Iris Murdoch: "One of the secrets of a happy life is continuous small treats". I need to remind myself that every once in a while, as well as remind myself to count my blessings.
ReplyDeleteThis is really a nice and informative, containing all information and also has a great impact on the new artist. Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteLove this so much I blogged about it! http://corleymay.com/blog/october-download-oh-hello-friend/
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these with us :)
I was wondering if you'll re-open your reverie market store?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the gorgeous desktop and inspiring words! One of my favourite quotes is "Enjoy the little things in life for someday you may realise they were the big things"
ReplyDeleteThank you for this calendar. This quote speaks to me at this time in my life. In October, I just got back from a trip and am looking forward to another vacation soon where I hope to get things done and accomplish another goal in my life.
ReplyDeleteYou know when you stumble across something you were supposed to read or see at that moment - this desktop wallpaper was that for me today. Thanks :)
