I would love to have a whole house of just drawers, what about you? I just love drawers. However, though I have many drawers in my craft room, I think I just like the idea of drawers but I don't actually use them. I think it's because I can't really keep track of what I put in every single drawer. Anyway, aren't all these just fabulous?

  2. So many gorgeous drawers! I wish I had space for more of them, I could definitely use the storage. I'm particularly partial to vintage card catalogs, but I think that's just my library background talking.

  3. I LOVE drawers too! B just bought me a library card catalog the other week, did you see it? I blogged about it on Tuesday the 11th. I love it!

Not sure if you're interested, but I have a friend who is selling a vintage post office box unit with 60 different compartments. It's just under 6 feet tall and she's selling it for $250. If you're interested, let me know and I can send you some pics.

Love the 64-drawer cupboard from redroosterbab, but really dig the round wooden hat boxes sitting on top of it!

  9. There was an old hardware store in my old neighbor hood that had beautiful old drawers and shelves. It made me feel like I was in Olivander's wand shop :) It went out of business last year though.

  12. in response to your comment on my post:

OMG, Lucille's?! That's where me and B went on our first "official" date. I count our first date as our unofficial one when we met up at the grocery store and had a chemistry-filled shopping trip, but he would count it to be Lucille's.

Here's a link to a pic of it. If you want more info, Facebook message me and I can talk to you on there.

  20. Ah, how funny - I did basically the exact same post a couple weeks ago. The Apothecary Cupboard is one of my favorites! I on a MISSION to find a cute vintage library card cabinet for my craft room. That would be oh so amazing. Everything I found so far is way, way too expensive. I'm sure I'll find something sooner or later.

  22. Hooray! Somebody else with a drawer/storage fascination!

I adore every photo here, and I love anything with multiple little drawers. But you're right, trouble is, they look lovely, but half the time you don't end up using them because you get sick of opening draw after tiny draw just looking for one little thing!

On the other hand, I did just buy some plan drawers... Lovely big beat-up old metal things that I DO actually use for my artworks and drawing paper. Trouble is, the only place they'd fit was my guest bedroom, but now my guest bedroom no longer fits a bed. HA! Priorites... Yes?
