message in a bottle:

April 6, 2010

so i made this tiny easter message in a bottle over the weekend for a friend.. i thought i'd post it as a tutorial before easter but it is very simple, perhaps you can send it to a friend as a spring 'just because' note. receiving special notes is so sweet. you just need little glass bottles, some twine, and charms! i typed my message. roll up, tie with twine, and insert into bottle! easy peasy. :)

  7. this is absolutely adorable! i was just about to ask where you got the bottles, but then i saw you included a link! another thing that i did once for my husband was write a bunch of messages on different colored/patterned paper and rolled them up and put a clear rubber band around them. the jar was filled with messages and i had my husband open one each day! =)
