what can i say: i love japanese tape + lace trim! sometimes i wonder what we did before without pretty tape, you know what i mean? ;) i've had a few orders lately for pocket watches so i've had lots of fun packaging them in kraft boxes. these are the perfect size, available from paper mart. how do you package your orders? care to share some pics? :)

I just love how you package your items! I ordered a couple of necklaces from your etsy and it was a delight to receive the package in the mail. Where did you find the lace packing tape?

oh much love found on this entry! i like to package mine with transparent, colored envelopes, bakers, twine and paper hearts (to go along with my shop name). packaging is part of the fun - i'm a firm believer of this!

Love your package:)
Especially the lace you use.

We use small wood boxes for our items with ribbon bow too. They are handmade too:)

Yay Paper Mart! I use their tuck top kraft boxes for small items, usually with baker's twine, but I love the look of the Japanese tape...AND I just got some from Cute Tape after you mentioned them a while back, so I'm going to have to give that a try!

Do you believe in the saying "Good things come in good packaging"? Well, I do. Most small businesses get funds from banks and other international small business loans institutions to invest on good product packaging. Good packaging is very important in marketing a product since consumers are first attracted on what their senses tell them. Your product packaging is very attractive! Very nice to be given as gifts. Well done!

S.L.North said...

lovely! I'll have to check out your box link... :)

I use a lot a waxed and brown paper, glassine and cellophane envelopes, handmade tags, ribbon and esp. twine...and lots of bits, like buttons and flowers :D

Oh I love this post :)

I package all my goods in reclaimed fabric (I go to the reuse store and pick the fabric with the nicest colors and most awesome textures) and then I wrap with lace, ribbon, or cotton string and place a feather in the bow.

Simple, rustic, ecofriendly!

I love that Japanese tape! It's so cute.
