diy with Brittni:

February 11, 2011

Good morning! It's Brittni from papernstitch. This week, I felt like it was time to do another original diy project as opposed to my typical roundups. So, I've come up with a unique Valentine's Day greeting card / keepsake that you can make in five minutes for the one's you love. It's not only quick; it's also super easy. So if you have the supplies, you can totally put this together last minute and no one will know the difference.

Materials Needed: 1. Small piece of wood (craft wood works well- pick it up at any craft supply store) 2. Stamp Pad 3. Letter set of stamps (I used a Papyrus alphabet rolling stamp just like this one)

Steps to Make your Own: 1. Configure stamp to say whatever phrase or message you would like. 2. Get out your stamp pad and stamp away. Couldn't be much easier than that, huh?

Want more? I've been posting Valentine's Day tutorials on my blog all week. So, if you're looking for more V-Day diy's here are two more you might like: 1. My Stamped Clay Heart (fun project with oven-bake clay) 2. Easy Heart Cupcake Toppers (insanely easy way to add extra sweetness to your V-Day sweets)

  3. Thank you Jillian and Dagmarette. Yes, I absolutely love this stamp (it is kind of like a mini typewriter). It was a Christmas present from my mom. And I use it all the time!
