March 2, 2011

Today's keyword is instant collection .. which perhaps is also can be called hoarder's delight. For the slightly vintage obsessed collector, an instant collection is amazing goodness where one can simply add to their collection x 10, or start an instant collection, hence the name.

So if you don't collect anything currently, by purchasing 3 or 4 of these instant listings, you could start your very own collections just like that! Though my husband would say I don't need more junk, I say the things I collect are treasures!

Just kidding, Nick is really supportive of my thrifting (addiction). Only sometimes when I'm not being practical, he'll tell me not to buy it. But most of the time, I find something cool and hold it up giving him a look and he says sure ;)

So what about you? What are you collecting these days?

  2. I'm always collecting vintage pyrex, but lately I have been unable to resist vintage sheets, the flowery ones from the 60's and 70's. I have no idea what I am going to do with them all, but my stack just keeps growing and growing.

  3. mmm those are all lovely collections. I especially love the bottles and the pitchers. beautiful. I've seen really nice photographs where items like that were used to hold the flower centerpieces at weddings.

I dont collect anything, I dont think....oh. I collect scarfs. Or at least if you saw how many I had you'd think I had an 'addiction'. :)

  4. Oh man, way too many collections going on in my place! :) We're so lucky to have boys who are supportive (or just gotten used to) our thrifting/antique shopping! That harmonica collection is calling out to me! :)
