Today Nick & I are reflecting on how we are blessed to live in a country with so many freedoms. The freedom of speech, religion, etc. I know I often take this for granted and forget about how many people in other countries are persecuted for what they believe or stand for. Happy 4th to all you dear friends and hope you have a wonderful day spending time with family&friends.
WELL said!! You have a wonderful day too!
ReplyDeleteSo true and how fortunate are we!

Happy fourth to you too! I have to admit I'm a little homesick on this day :( No celebrations and fireworks here in England, lol! I miss me some hotdogs too. mmmm hotdogs. Everybody eat some for me.

ReplyDeleteWe really are so lucky to be part of this country. I hope the potential of what the wonderful people of this country can accomplish together only grows. Happy 4th, darling!
ReplyDeleteI've typically only looked at today as a lesson in history, fireworks, and cook-outs. Now that I'm older, it's really meaningful to reflect on the incredible gift of our freedom to worship God and declare ourselves whole-hearted followers of Jesus.
ReplyDeleteI hope you and Nick are loving your first 4th of July as a married couple!
So good!! Happy 4th!!
