Today my entire outfit is thrifted! Well, except the watch. I wish I knew the brand of the skirt + top, but the tags were cut off when I found them at Crossroads. Do you have a buy/sell/trade store near you? I first found out about buy/sell/trade when I was in college and lived 30 seconds away from a buffalo exchange. You can take your clothes and either sell them or get credit - so whenever I do a closet purge, I take the clothes over and get trade credit. It's a pretty fabulous exchange.

This outfit features some of my favorites! My favorite watch, which is a Harry Potter watch ;) found on ebay... and my favorite map bag, found while thrifting in SLC at Alt Summit back in January. I had always wanted a map bag, and there it was on the rack for $3 bucks! Thanks Utah!

  9. Oh my goodness! That bag...!! I have to tell you, about 15 years ago my mom paid around $100 for that bag. There was a whole collection of it and all my aunts bought one. It was C-R-A-Z-Y!!
I have to ask her if she still has it.

  10. So cute! I love the yellow skirt! I was noticing some of the prices are a bit higher than I've seen on other thrifed outfit posts. Those prices are similar to what I'd find in the shops near me (in central CA). Do you have a limit as to how much you'd spend for a thrifted item? Sometimes when I'm out thrifting I feel like I shouldn't purchase something unless it's below a certain price. Just curious on your thoughts! :)

  11. Growing up we would always go to Crossroads and Buffalo. I wish I could sell my clothes there but they never take them. Sad. I absolutely adore this happy outfit. And that bag is awesome!

  19. I have a map bag too! I also found it thrifting in San Diego. It is my favorite and I get so many compliments on it. Mine is smaller though, more of a crossbody, but I wonder if they might have originated from the same company. They look very similar, just different shapes!
