shoe fetish:

So I mentioned I was looking for shoes for the wedding, and I ended up finding a lot of quite lovely shoes, not for the wedding...I have a bit of a shoe problem: I love shoes! but who doesn't?

I think I get it from my grandma, now that is a woman who owned a lot of shoes! We're the same size and she had the most fabulous shoe collection ever. She kept all her shoes in the original box, so all her shoes were in amazing condition. I looked forward to inheriting them.. It broke my heart when they cleaned out her house and donated all her shoes to goodwill. Oh well, C'est la vie!

Anyway, I thought I'd post some of my favorite styles I came across while browsing for endless hours for shoes. Enjoy!

from left to right:
1. anthropologie
2. zappos.com, poetic licence
3. karmaloop.com, bc footwear
4. piperlime.com, ciao bella
5. zappos.com, seychelles
6. amazon.com, pink studio
7. endless.com, chocolat blu

  14. What size are you? I have the Minnie flats and they're just barely too tight for me, so I've only worn them once! Just in case you need more shoe-options ; -)
So excited to see more picks as you find them!

  17. that would have been an amazing inheritance! i would love to keep my shoes in their original boxes, but i have absolutely no room. shoes are already pouring out of my closet as it is! it seems you're a girl after my own heart. nothing beats shoes.

  18. Danni, that broke my heart reading that they gave all your Grandmas shoes to goodwill. My Nanna also has the most amazing shoe collection, she has a wardrobe just for her shoes.

    beautiful finds!

  19. i can't believe they gave away all of her shoes! i bet they were amazing. when my great-grandmother died, they gave all of her vintage chanel clothing and bags. and to think, i would have gotten most of, if not all, of it! so, so sad.

  20. I'm looking for wedding shoes too! It's NOT easy. I was hoping those sweet ruffled heels on the bottom right came in a color that would work for my wedding. No such luck. The hunt continues . . .

  23. I would have cried over those shoes! How sad for you!! I do love all these. I have been out hunting for new boots and wellies and found the perfect pair of boots that surely must have come directly from heaven... just one problem... they were $600!
