diy with Brittni:

May 20, 2011

Good morning! It's Brittni from papernstitch. Today, I have some really cool diy projects to add a little more fun to your weekend. Hope you enjoy 'em as much as I do...

Give your old ballet flats a little edge with this studded shoe idea (above) from Orange Juice.

Make a vegan-friendly button stud skinny belt in about an hour with this clever tutorial from I Still Love You.

Get rustic with this wooden centerpiece idea from Ruffled.

Re-decorate any simple vase or other housewares item with an inexpensive roll of masking tape. So cool! Jessica shows off her designs for this idea on How About Orange.

Recreate the look of this photo above with a simple, bokeh heart filter that you can use again and again. Bonus: You probably have all the supplies you'll need for this one lying around the house already.

And last but not least... Grab some crepe paper + a pair of scissors and start your own party with this diy streamer idea from Jordan Ferney.

That's all for now. See you next time!
