found objects:

August 10, 2011

I love random found objects! Here are some things just sitting around the desk.. stamps, compasses, keys, paper goods, and vintage scissors.
It's also always fun to experiment taking photos of different angles and using my awesome zoom lens that my husband got me :)
What sort of random things do you have around your desk? :)

23 hello's:

  1. What a lovely desk! And your lens is obviously great! I always love photos you've taken, Danni!

Around my desk there are lots of things. My mom's photos (vintage ones), CD I've got from my boyfriend 4 years ago, also lots of rings and studs earrings. (I need to be more organized I know).

  2. My desk is pretty much just full of random papers (and not of the pretty craft-making sort) and pens that don't work. At my sewing table, though, I have that exact same pair of scissors! Mine are reproduction, but I still love them--they're perfect for little tiny projects and they look so pretty just sitting out.

  9. Hi Danni,

On my work desk I have things from home that make me happy. I have a little collection of porcelain figures of animals from antique stores, it's is like an enchanted desk. I also have a miniature bible and coral that i collected in Mexico on my honeymoon. Everytime I look at it, I smile inside.

  11. I sadly have no desk at the moment. But my nightstand is piled with books and cards and other things that arrive and have no other spot for. I love how all your items really have a sense of adventure to them. And where is that "Smile" card from??

  15. I think the things around a persons desk can really say something about who they are. Yours do!! All those things are totally your aesthetic.

  16. My (office) desk unfortunately doesn't have the wealth of lovely details and things that yours has... it has a LOT of scattered papers. Which reminds me that I need to get some filing done asap!
