I don't know if it's because I watched now & then over and over when I was a kid or it's because I never had one, but I love treehouses! How cool was the one that Samantha, Roberta, Chrissy, and Tina had? I would love a tree house. My mom actually took us tree house camping a long time ago, it was so much fun! If I could have a tree house studio/work space, I would totally work out of it, it'd be the best ;) They should make a treehouse store, that'd be cool too ;) What about you? Are you a fan of tree houses?

I have this dream that my husband will build a treehouse for our kids and we'll all hang out together. Sigh... I just love treehouses!
I've always wanted a tree house! Still do! I've never connected my love for treehouses with my love for the movie Now & Then, but yeah... that's probably where it came from.
Some of these are just amazing! There is something so magical about a tree house isnt there?x

This sure is an amazing collection of tree houses! Some of these look good enough to actually live in! I am sure Now and Then was a big part of this, but when I was a kid I dreamed about having a tree house till no end. Of course, we had not tree that could sustain it but I always thought it would be the coolest thing!

Oh my goodness! I love the movie Now and Then. I used to be able to recite it line by line! I always wanted a tree house growing up too, but we just had little peach trees in our backyard. I love how you included Tarzan's Treehouse!

I still watch that movie every time its on tv! Their treehouse was THE best, I've always wanted one with girly drapes...hopefully we will be able to have one for kids down the line, they are so fun.
Great collection, my son is dying to build a treehouse in our front yard! lol I tell hi, once we move into the country... I would love to escape to these treehouse but I dont have one concern - the bugs - maybe in some parts of the world they wouldn't be that bad... Treehouses are just so fantastical and makes my imagination feel free. :)
Also I think the last photo is the same tree house as the one from -the house book- just arranged a bit differently. Its deffinately the same place. :)

I wish I had a tree house... I would so be the most popular kid on the block. lol One thing I always wondered is, where is the bathroom? I assume it will be hard to build a plumbing inside of a tree?

You just revived my love for treehouses. I used to daydream about having one in my backyard -- and we had so many good trees for that sort of thing, but I never got it. That's okay though, because I'll just build myself an awesome adult-sized one someday soon.
