House Progress:

January 8, 2013

So perhaps some of you are wondering if we've moved into our house yet. Or figured we have to have been moved in by now....right? Well, we haven't moved yet :/ It is taking a little longer than we thought (a lot longer) I thought we'd be in by Halloween. then Thanksgiving. then for sure Christmas. But there was just so much work to be done... lots of delays and last minute figuring out of things. and I am not the most decisive person in the world. I'm actually really annoyingly indecisive, haha ;) Our contractor is my Uncle so it's not like we paid a ton of money to bring a whole team of people in to crank it out in a month or something. Although that would have been sweet! Anyway, we are certainly learning a lot of patience right now :) I know the wait will be so worth it.

These are from a little while ago so we're definitely more ahead now but I thought I'd post these to show some progress of our house!

We got our brick wall. (thin brick is awesome!) Concrete floors. Yellow tile (my personal favorite) and painted that black wall I posted about, white. (weird, but I kind of miss the black) I can't wait! It really doesn't seem real that we'll be living in a home of our very own sooooo soon! I've been collecting a few fun things to decorate the house with and I'm most excited about that! Hopefully there will be less boring and more exciting pictures to come ;)

24 hello's:
