December 31, 2008

well, 2008 is nearly over. i just wanted to take a moment to thank all my dear readers and friends, i am honored that you would take time to stop by my blog and see what i am up to. blogging is so much fun, i am glad to be a tiny, microscopic part of such a creative group of people.  i love every comment you leave, every new follower that follows, every new reader that subscribes. i really appreciate all your support.

2008 has been a lovely year. many good things have come in 2008 and as i was thinking about it, i decided to write a recap, off the top of my head.

in january, i started a new job and made some pretty decent $.
in february, i don't really remember anything special in february, heh.
in march, i finally got my new imac.
in april, i roadtripped it up all the way from minneapolis to edcouch (texas) with a friend.
in may, i started this blog + got a new roommate.
in june, i turned 23. meh.
in july, i started up the shop and had my very first etsy order.
in august, visited my mom in stockton for the first time and made a new blog friend
in september, nicholas and i celebrated 3 years.
in october, we went to china. lots of fun.
in november, i did my very first craft show, which i have been wanting to do since college.
in december, i stopped working. and did not do a whole lot of anything.

so i'd say it's been a pretty eventful year. anyway, i have finished my new blog layout, which will be changed tomorrow so be sure to check it out! here's a little preview of what it looks like:
