It's Friday! Someone commented to me the other day that April practically doesn't even count, haha. I really don't know where the time is going and can't believe April is almost over. Nick & I were going to go to Santa Barbara this weekend but more important matters needed us here this weekend so we're staying local.

Thank you so much for sharing your stories and sending emails about advice on the house. I have been feeling a peace about it.. & have been trying to occupy my mind with other things. Whatever happens, happens. it's out of our hands. Yesterday, Proverbs 16:9 was the daily verse on my phone. It says "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps" I was pretty happy when I read it - it's so applicable with what we're going through right now.

When I saw Lillian's post about the Carlsbad flower fields, I wanted go check it out right away - I had never even known about this place before! So when I was down in San Diego for business, we stayed an extra night and stopped here on the way back up. It was endless rows of flowers - so lovely. and so cool to discover new places + sights to see through other blogger friends! Nick & I are always looking for fun date things to do together, this was great & perfect for pictures too. The fields are closed now but mark your calendars for next year when they reopen. What sort of places have you been going to lately for dates?

Friday is here once again! This week was busy, and this weekend will be busy too! My mom is in town for Mother's Day so we're taking her out. We're seeing cirque du soleil tonight, taking her to korean bbq tomorrow, and then taking her to see Avengers. (Have you seen it yet?? It was so good, you must go see it if you haven't!) We also will be down at the California Market Center this weekend for UNIQUE LA! The event is Saturday & Sunday, from 11:00-6:00 -- Hope you can stop by & say hello if you're free :)
