How was your week? Nick and I went to ikea on Wednesday, ikea is the best. You really can't go wrong with a $30 dollar desk. It's simple and just what I needed. So I spent all day cleaning and organizing and throwing things away yesterday. I forgot how wonderful it is to have a clean room - I really haven't had my studio organized in a long time. So now I'll be able to post a studio tour soon.

So I realized I haven't posted one single photo of us from the wedding (except the polaroid) so I thought I'd post a couple.. I was so fortunate to have my friend Mindy & her husband Brian, at the wedding. They came all the way out from Minnesota and took some amazing amazing amazing pictures! I met Mindy at bible school back in 2004. She is just a bubble of joy. They are a husband/wife team at hope feathers. Follow her on twitter + facebook :) Thank you for all the wonderful photos Mindy & Brian! (and soon I can share them with you all too)

I am still waiting on the photos from my photographer but I am super excited about them and I know they will be great!

We're having some fabulous guest bloggers next week! See you all on Monday!

I am a big fan of Katrina from Pugly Pixel. She blogs great content and offers free downloads, and she's offering free e-courses on all about our favorite thing that brings us together - BLOGGING! :) Here's a look into her studio where all her lovely work happens! Oh, Katrina's space was also featured at Jen's blog, i art u! Be sure and stop by and check it out!

Hello and welcome to PuglyPixel headquarters. This is where I spend most of my time. This little room is where I blog, craft, package orders, brainstorm, read, take naps, and do most of my product photography for the shop.

I'm a Japanophile and Japantown mall rat. When I'm not at home, you can find me chillin' at Kinokuniya Bookstore. I usually come home with lots of craft books and style magazines:

My favorite fragrance is lavender. I bought a huge bunch of fresh lavender at the farmer's market at the Ferry Building in San Francisco over the summer. They still look good and have a little life in them!

As you can see, I've maximized my wall space...

I bought from Elle Moss and Cassia Beck?

Found these cute porcelain figurines in a small
dilapidated shop on 9th and Irving in SF. I love dogs.

I can't believe I've never done a post about anthropologie window displays - they are truly an inspiration! It seems like the creatives at anthropologie are always innovating, coming up with beautiful, organic, and unique displays. Seriously, if you ever need inspiration for ideas for decorating a party or even your wedding, look through anthropologie store displays! Here's just a few photos from the many many that can be found on google + flickr.

new card design :)
Hello there! It is finally Friday - I have been down in San Diego this entire week and am just so excited to get back to my husband! (it is still weird for me to say that - how long did it take you to get used to saying 'husband?') It is just too hard to be away from my Nicholas for so long.

The week at UCSD wasn't bad... okay, a little disheartening as I got lots of my products stolen! Mainly rings. Some pocket watch necklaces. I don't know what it was about this week and theft but at least I got to meet lots of blog readers + friends..

I ordered some new business cards, which I'm excited about. What do you think? I really like the back a lot more than the front. It's always fun to get a new business cards printed. So these will be lovely to hand out for my upcoming holiday shows. Hopefully next I can get going on a blog re-design. (note: tags + tape strips used in my design are from pugly pixel)

Oh, I almost forgot to announce the winner for the amazing Olive Manna giveaway! Winners were chosen with random.org. Here are the lucky winners:

Photobucket
First winner: #332 - Erin! (erin dollar)
you won the Mixed Bag, valued at $50!

2nd winner: #171 - Jennifer! (i art u)

3rd winner: #404 - Josie Mae! (mae(de).for.you)

Thanks to Olive Manna for participating in a giveaway! Do you have any weekend plans for Halloween? This weekend Nicholas and I are spending it together 24/7 to make up for being apart this last week! Have a lovely/spooky (can those 2 go together?) weekend sweet friends! xo.

Looking back, I've pretty much had a camera post each year: here's the first collection of fun cameras from 2008, and then a couple more in 2009! Here are a few more to add to your collection & to keep the tradition going of yearly camera posts ;) Do you own any cool unique cameras?
